Better Health

You don’t want to sacrifice your health to lose weight. If you are unhealthy, you are not going to be happy no matter what you weigh. You want better health, too. Without good health, we all have nothing.

The greatest health care or insurance in the world isn’t better than having good health. Misdiagnosis is a big problem which could complicate your stay in the hospital, even cause your death. Avoid doctors and hospitals to begin with by staying healthy.

If you get sick, you lose. Prevent conditions, ailments or disease from taking hold in the first place. Benefits of a whole food plant based diet…

Vegetarian diets are not always healthy. For example, drizzling olive oil on your salad or cooking with it isn’t healthy. Oil is not health food. It’s processed, empty calorie with low nutritional value. Instead, sprinkle a few nuts or seeds on your salad.

It’s not healthy eating a lot of meat. In societies where their people live the longest, they eat it sparingly. Meat is like a condiment. They use a small amount of it to flavor their rice and vegetables.

Vegan or Vegetarian? I don’t think it matters much which one you choose. It matters what you eat. For example, if you eat a lot of bread, you will likely gain weight. There is gluten in it that could be causing you an allergic reaction with mysterious bodily aches and pains.

Furthermore, eating Salmon is not healthier than having a burger even though you have heard it is. Don’t be fooled by all the prevailing hype. You don’t need to eat fish, meat, chicken, or any other animal product! There is protein enough in a whole food plant based diet.

Yet, a vegetarian diet can lead to weight gain, especially if you eat out a lot or consume processed and refined foods at home like chips, tortillas and cookies, etc..

Another example of many foods not bringing better health is processed soy despite what so many say. I don’t eat it, but used to until I found out it wasn’t healthful. Additionally, they say Tofu is good for you because it’s fermented, but I would limit it and anything like it that contains that amount of fat content.
