Food lover’s diet

A vegetarian diet is the best food lover’s diet! You can eat all you want. Portion control is a stupid way to eat. If you are going to eat, why not choose health and be satisfied with enough to eat at the same time? Why not eat all you want? We all love to eat, but eating the wrong foods will likely do us in, eventually. We don’t want that. So, what do we do?

If you eat the right healthful foods, you can lose weight and keep it down, permanently. And, as possible fringe benefits; one can reverse heart and cardiovascular problems, diabetes and many other ailments, diseases and conditions.

What rests on the end of your fork can either heal you or eventually kill
you. It's up to us to educate ourselves as to what's healthy and nutritious
to eat and what's not.

It is though, relatively easy. What we do is eat whole foods. When you adopt a plant-based whole food diet, you get all the nutrition you need in one healthful package. You can also lessen cravings over time eating the right foods. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you’ve come to the right place.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we craved broccoli instead of chips? Did you know that ingredients in processed food like fat, sugar and salt stimulate certain receptors in the brain? This means, they are addicting. Using your willpower simply will  not work when you know that big bag of chips or crackers is in the cupboard!

Best strategy is to clear it all out and don’t go to the store hungry! Know that junk and snack foods are designed to make you want more. Who can eat just one measly chip? I could never do it. I used to eat the whole bag!

The more nutrient packed food you eat, the more your desire for the wrong foods will diminish. Your taste buds will change in time. It won’t happen overnight, but what things you crave will change.
