As you probably know, if you’ve taken a look at my recipes, I like quick and easy. I don’t make too much of a fuss about food. I eat simply. I didn’t used to. I made a big occasion out of every gourmet meal. I used to go out to eat at the finest restaurants.

I am much older and have to watch what I eat. But, it’s actually quite fun. Maybe, you could even call it a hobby of mine. But, this hobby will save lives and make you feel better. I want to live past 100. How about you? I don’t mean in mediocre health. I mean in vibrant health.

To my amazement, people who live over 100 don’t necessarily eat good all the time. For example, one of them smoked cigars, drank coffee and hard liquor every day. Another, ate plenty of chocolate bars during the week. I guess it isn’t necessarily always eating right all the time that makes you live the longest.
Tips to possibly live longer…

- Adopt a traditional Asian diet with rice and plenty of fruits and vegetables
So, there’s a missing link or riddle as to precisely why the elders live as long as they do in good health. One thing striking about them though I noticed is they do tend to have their own philosophy of life and are positive thinkers. They appear to be logical and have a strong sense of who they are.
Furthermore, none of the centenarians are overweight. So, let’s both live to over 100 by doing what they do. What do they do? They might not eat my ‘Quick Meatless Tostada with Beans’. But, I really like them. That’s why I am sharing it with you. I think my tostadas quality as a healthy meal.
Quick Meatless Tostada with Beans recipe
- Tostada shells (pack of 12)
- Spread refried beans on
- Add chopped lettuce
- sliced onion
