Your internal dialogue can make you happy or depressed. It’s so easy to overlook how we talk to ourselves. So many things we’ve told ourselves in the past we have long forgotten. That’s why it’s a good idea to begin monitoring consciously how we speak to ourselves. Our thinking often goes on automatic pilot. No better time than now to begin watching how we think.
‘Your self talk is just like planting seeds. You have likely heard ‘what you sow you shall reap’. But, we tend to forget how we’ve talked to ourselves in the past. So, it’s quite easy to not take responsibility for how our lives have turned out. Best suggestion is to change the internal dialogue to the positive so that now and in the future, you will see more good things happening. It’s just like magic’ ~ your author
Now, when it comes to losing weight, maybe it’s been happening too slow for you. So, if you are not happy with how you look, it’s a good idea not to dwell on those things you don’t like. Instead, picture yourself trim and happy.
A suggestion is to visualize a friend telling you how good you look. And, you reply to them (in your mind’s eye) that you have lost all the weight you wanted and feel really good about yourself.
Why not give it a try and see for yourself that this mental visualization technique will work wonders. I tell you that in my experiences it has worked for me and continues to bring positive situations, circumstances and outcomes.
