I drank coffee for many years. A few years ago, I put the puzzle pieces together figuring out drinking it gave me certain symptoms. One was heart palpitations throughout the day. It also seemed to make me tired later on. It would change my moods and I would get angry because there was something in it that caused this. I also believe it made me paranoid. Since I’ve been drinking Japanese green tea, I experience none of the previous.
“I have read that coffee has about a thousand different elements researchers don’t yet understand. I knew someone who didn’t drink it because it made him feel a sense of ‘impending doom’. Good reason to stop doing so” ~ your author
I never could enjoy the taste of coffee black. I always had to have sugar and cream in it or I couldn’t drink it. Because of what I learned about sugar and dairy, I no longer drink coffee. I used to drink Starbucks®, so if you have you probably know how strong they make it.
‘It always struck me as an amazing marketing feat to be able to charge $5 and up per cup when it actually costs them pennies for the ingredients to make it. There’s a lot to learn from them in terms of running a profitable big business. You have to give them credit for that. But, honestly, they do make an excellent cup of coffee…’ ~ your author
3 Big Reasons why I don’t drink coffee anymore…
- Heart palpitations: I don’t want to have further heart complications, bladder, kidney or any other currently undiscovered health problems from drinking coffee
- Sugar: We have all heard sugar isn’t good for you
- Cream: We have also learned of many unhealthful things about dairy
‘If you want to break the coffee habit I don’t know of any way better than drinking Japanese green tea. I buy the loose leaf variety which I brew myself. I make a pot a day. You ingest much less caffeine drinking green tea. It gives you a quieter more peaceful sort of energy. I have never heard anything bad about drinking it…’ ~ your author
Despite all my bad mouthing against coffee, I do still love it although I don’t drink it. How does one live without what he loves? One suggestion to ponder is if the food or drink is loving you back. Unfortunately, in my opinion, coffee is not loving us enough.
