I know this post isn’t about food, but if you are working in a business concerning food and you love it, keep doing it. At first, the money may not be coming in, but it will in time if you like what you do to make a living.
We all have to make money to buy our things and keep a roof over our heads. So, if you hate your job, you will dread getting up out of bed every day, live for the weekend and hate Mondays likely missing a lot of work being sick.
With so many choices these days, why not choose something you not only have an strong aptitude for and special interest in, but something that empowers your personality. One of the tests I took in college was the Myers Briggs. You might want to check it out as a tool to help you find your right livelihood.
Why not work with those you have something in common with instead of little. Unfortunately for me, I landed in the wrong occupation for my personality for over forty years.

I think I was always a writer at heart, always interested in health and many other subjects. I got discouraged about pursuing it because a college counselor told me there was no money in it and few succeeded.
I was young and impressionable and was brought up to respect and believe what my elders told me. I think the counselor must have tried it out himself, but desired a steady income which counseling provided.

Now, I write pretty much what I want. But, I am retired and have an income. I wouldn’t be able to do this otherwise, so the counselor was right.
I write about many subjects. I have written four books and even have a poetry site. Now, I can finally afford to take a chance on me being a full time author. I am happier than I’ve ever been in my life.
