I don’t know about you, but I have always loved mushrooms. I remember when I bought the ones in the bottles to add to my spaghetti sauce. I didn’t know I could save money buying them fresh chopping them up dropping them in the crock pot.

You live and you learn to do things easier while saving money and in many cases getting more nutrition. Why I have craved mushrooms is anyone’s guess. But, from what I found out, they have nutrition in them you never knew existed…

I know that the mushroom is not a plant, but fungus that has Ergothioneine. You can’t get this ingredient anywhere else in the plant kingdom. I eat them almost everyday.

  • May be anti-inflammatory
  • Increase antibody production

There’s thousands of mushrooms you can eat that grow naturally. Did you know that mushrooms have been used in Chinese medicine for their medicinal properties for centuries? But, to pick the right edible ones, you would really have to know your mushrooms.
