Who doesn’t want to be accepted the way he is, right or wrong? Although, it isn’t quite that way, we may wish it were. But, there is always room for improvement, as we are often our most severe critic.
We are what we are and most of us don’t change that much. I am not sure if most of us actually reflect upon things we would like to change within ourselves. Maybe, we want to lose a few pounds here and there. I think most of us are too busy in this competitive world to have the luxury to daydream.

I have found that what I eat influences my moods and energy level. You hear so much conflicting information, I sometimes wonder what’s true and what to believe when it comes to what to eat, improving health and lengthening life.

But, I do know how to lose weight (I lost 50 lbs.) and I feel I am still learning about the getting healthier and living longer part. Of course, we never know how long we will live. All I know is that I don’t want to live a life going in and out of the doctor’s office and hospital.

I would hope posts from my site help in at least some small way. I know that I feel healthier when I don’t eat too many nuts, use oil, sugar, avoid fructose, eat snack and junk food, don’t use too much salt, abstain from alcohol, don’t drink too much caffeine, and eat animal products.
