‘1’ Super Huge Reason Why Fruit Alone Is Better For Breakfast…

From time to time one needs to give his body a rest from heavy foods. That’s where fruit comes in handy, especially in the morning. I find I actually do feel better when I only eat fruit in the morning. This really helps with elimination and increasing ones energy. You don’t need to always eat a big meal in the morning.

I have learned to eat berries like blackberries, blueberries and strawberries. These are the most nutritious. I always try to get organic, but settle for regular instead of going without. I avoid most grains except for rice. Many people eat oatmeal which ‘sticks to their ribs’. It causes me acid reflux and just like whole wheat. I believe I have a reaction to it.

‘It’s OK not to eat grains all the time, as there are many plant based whole foods that are equally or even more nutritious. I really do think grain is not essential to a healthy diet even though I do eat rice’ ~ your author

I also eat russet potatoes, but am not eating them in the morning lately. It’s an experiment I am doing. I also eat pinto beans mostly for lunch and dinner. I cook my rice, potatoes and beans in the pressure cooker. These are my staples that ‘stick to my ribs’. Cooking in a pressure cooker reduces potency of their lectins.

‘I’m no scientist, but I know our world operates in cycles. For example, there are the seasons of the year, and we go to sleep and wake up at certain times. We also have regular bowel movements, especially in the morning. And, when we skip our schedule, we know constipation may be on our horizon…’ ~ your author

When I was drinking coffee, it helped to wait until noon to drink it. I forgot until recently that I used to eat only fruit until noon. But, this was many years ago. In doing so, you get almost guaranteed bowel movement(s) every time.

‘What should I avoid eating or drinking if I’m constipated?
To help prevent or relieve constipation, avoid foods with little to no fiber, such as

  • chips
  • fast food
  • meat
  • prepared foods, such as some frozen meals and snack foods
  • processed foods, such as hot dogs or some microwavable dinners

So, if you eat a lot of pasta, bread or rice the day or night before, you might notice you are constipated. The food is more ‘concentrated’. I think this happens because there isn’t enough water in the food you are eating. In other words, the pasta, bread and rice tends to rob moisture from your body where it counts in elimination.

That’s why I never ate spaghetti ‘Al Dente’. I don’t eat pasta anymore, but do remember there was nothing like a big bowl of it with plenty of meat sauce and garlic bread! Oh, those sweet wrong food memories… Glad I changed my diet or I wouldn’t be alive and well today!
