Why We Should Trust Our Gut Feelings Over What Our Mind Tells Us…

I write articles about positive thinking and well being because I feel they relate to our overall health. Furthermore, meditation can become a practical tool for increased relaxation. It’s really easy to learn.

If you are a good person who wears his heart on his sleeve, be forewarned the ‘users’ will take advantage of you, absolutely. Don’t let them. When you are aware, they will know and usually avoid you. Although, they can’t take advantage of other users, they use the innocent, naïve and foolhardy.

During each day, it’s essential to stay ‘conscious’ of what’s happening around you. For example, if you have a narcissistic boss, it might be time for another job (or, entirely different career.) It’s sad when we have to kiss ‘you know what’ to keep our job. Is it time to start interviewing?

How are you being true to yourself if you must endure intolerable conditions? Is making a living everything, no matter the price? In the meantime, be certain to document all the abuse. Remember, those who keep good documentation most often win court cases.

You will not change the world. In other words, the world of ‘Caesar’ will not change and we have to pay him his due. Only you have the power to change you, if you desire being someone different.

‘Look after you. You matter. In this day and age, loyalty to a company is simply not appreciated. So, don’t give it. Instead, be loyal to you’ ~ your author

Seek out your own kind. Have you ever noticed that people who strive to do the right thing frequently have more troubles than others? That’s because those who have bad intentions zero in on them and take advantage.

Realize there are those who are not like us. Don’t try to understand why they are the way they are, simply accept they are another breed. Again, stay acutely aware about what’s happening around you at all times.

Listening to ‘gut’ feeling is one of the most important things anyone can do to protect himself. I didn’t listen to my ‘inner voice’ in my past. My life would have surely turned out quite differently, as will yours as long as you ‘listen to you’, instead of what the world keeps telling you.

Note- before you change your diet consult your doctor. I am not a professional or trained therapist. There is no shame in seeking guidance from a marriage and family counselor for mental and/or emotional issues.
