Healthy eating has an extra bonus. I think most of us know what eating healthy isn’t. You know; pizza, hamburgers and fries, stuff like that. If you eat wholesome foods, you will likely lose weight, get healthier and live longer.

But, a vegetarian diet isn’t always healthy. It just depends what you eat. For example, a soft drink and a bag of chips qualifies as vegetarian. And, we also know it’s not health food.

We all know high fat, high salt and high sugary foods are not healthy. We all know this, but do we do anything about it? Not usually, unless we suffer from a disease, condition or ailment.

A few do the research to find out why we are unhealthy. We may occasionally suffer from mysterious aches and pains we think are normal. Some believe it’s caused by age and if you are old, it’s easy to think that way.

We might not feel that good in general, but don’t know why. The truth is, we can improve our health, lose weight and live longer through a healthier change in diet no matter what our age is. In other words, it’s almost never too late.

I learned to listen to my body after I ate. But, you can still be fooled and especially fool yourself by making unhealthy food choices.
